Baška is an attractive resort in the south-eastern part of the island of Krk. It is well known among tourists mainly because of its beautiful natural sandy beach Vela Plaža, also called Baška, which is 1,8 km long. In some places you can find a mixture of sand and pebbles. There is a gradual entry into the sea everywhere so the beaches are suitable for families with children. In Baška you can also find several nudist FKK beaches and also a dog-friendly beach. Children can have some fun at Funny Park Baška. In summer you can experience many cultural events, e.g. traditional fisherman's evening. There is really a lot to do in Baška!
